Buildings · city works

Ten buildings. Twenty levels each. One queue.

Everything a town becomes is ordered from the Curia. The cost is paid the moment you order the work, the work joins the town’s build queue, and every level costs more and takes longer than the one before it.

The rules of construction

Levels 20 the same ceiling for every building
Cost ×1.28 per level, paid when you order it
Build time ×1.25 per level, so each one waits longer
Queue 1 + 1 one work under way, one waiting

Every level also costs people — 4 at level 1, rising a fifth each level to 128 at level 20 — and the living quarters refill them over time. Cancel the work under way, or the one waiting behind it, and the whole cost comes back.
